Cook Forest State Park PA

If you are the adventurous type, Cook Forest is the place for you. According to Men's Journal, Cook Forest is the "Best Old-Growth Forest" in American and is home to some of the tallest trees in northeastern U.S. We have over 8,500 acres of Cook Forest State Park with over 16 miles of trails. While adventuring on the land you are able to see gorgeous views, wildlife and much more!

The Old #9 fire tower in Cook Forest was placed on the land over 90 years ago. The tower is roughly 87.5 feet high, giving a view of about 20 miles out. At Seneca Point, visitors can see "Indian Mills" unnatural indentations in the stones from being used to grind grains.

The Clarion & Allegheny Rivers offer many recreational activities in our areas. Get out your boats, paddle boards or floaties and enjoy the water! Or rent some equipment from the many small businesses along the river.
